The Challenge

Kognic’s platform supports complex workflows for managing and annotating sensor-fusion data, requiring users to navigate projects, resources, metrics, and results across a sophisticated product ecosystem. The challenge was to make these project-management workflows intuitive and efficient while maintaining a consistent experience across the wider platform.

The Solution & UX Approach

As Lead UX Designer, I worked closely with backend and frontend developers to design the project-management experience within the Kognic platform. My team focused on key workflows including setting up projects, managing resources, and tracking metrics and results.

Through in-depth user research, I identified user needs and pain points and translated these insights into clear user flows, interaction patterns, and design solutions. I also collaborated closely with designers responsible for other areas of the platform to create a cohesive experience across the entire product.

The Impact & Execution

I led the UX design process from early concepts and wireframes through to high-fidelity mockups and iterative refinement. Working closely with developers throughout the process allowed me to balance user needs with technical requirements and continuously improve the experience.

As part of a larger design team, I helped establish a consistent and intuitive experience across a complex platform, making sophisticated project-management workflows easier to understand and use.
